Bob Bressette

Bob Bressette started with the Flyers in 1999 after attending UWO Faculty of Education Teacher’s College with Prevention Coordinator/then Assistant Coach Dennis Meston. Dennis convinced Bob to join the team and he has been in Alvinston ever since. It is rumored that coach Paul Moffatt agreed to have Bob on the team because Bob is also a Calgary Flames fan. He has been a Level III trainer trained in the Hockey Trainer Certification Program since 97.

During the day Bob teaches grade 4/5 at Hillside School in Kettle Point. His favourite thing about the Flyers is having them test his knowledge and ability to treat the various injuries accrued by the many Flyers teams in the past – injuries such as: dislocated elbow’s, skate cuts with blood-gushing wounds etc. Bob loves his job. Born and raised in Kettle Point, Bob is a permanent resident in Alvinston along with his wife Crystal of 10 years. He has three daughters (Autumn, Aurora, and Rayah) and one son (Gordon).

The thing that keeps Bob coming back to help the Flyers is how the organization makes you feel like you’ve always been a part of the team, and that you will continue to be a part of the team when you have moved on. Bob brings a variety of skills to the Flyer bench and is a very strong asset to the team. Bob’s philosophy is hard work gets you where you need to go – believing gets you where you want to go.
